Many children with developmental delays or reading difficulties may benefit from vision therapy, as can many adults who suffer from vision problems related to stroke, vertigo, work accidents, or mild brain injury.<\/p>

Even if an individual has 20\/20 eyesight, he or she may have visual deficits. Visual skills are what we use to fully perceive and make sense of what is\u00a0 seen. Very few eye doctors have the specialized training needed to detect and to treat vision-related reading and learning problems.<\/p>

Our visual therapy program is administered by occupational therapists (OTs) and certified occupational therapy assistants (COTAs). The vision therapy program is supervised by a prescribing Optometrist.<\/p>

Cognitive, language, and aural rehabilitation is simultaneously conducted by a team of speech and occupational therapists.<\/p>

Evaluation and treatment is provided at Advent using the State of the art equipment.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

  • Recpetive language – the ability to understand\/receive language or communication<\/li>
  • Expressive language – the ability to express language\/communicate\u00a0<\/li>
